Farmer unleashes dogs on farm worker.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- A Kamalia-based farmer allegedly unleashed his pet dogs on an 18-year-old farm worker when he demanded his wages after planting rice in his fields in Chak Sheikh Burhanwala.

The incident took place on July 4 while the first information report was registered on Wednesday when District Police Officer Rana Umer Farooq took notice of the reports doing rounds online that relatives of the mauled boy staged a protest demonstration against the accused persons.

The first information report registered by Kamalia Sadar police under section 289 of the Pakistan Penal Code said that complainant Saiful Malook said that his son Farooq Hassan was hired by his village's land owner Muhammad Anwar and his son Muhammad Yasir for rice plantation and on completion of work when Farooq demanded wages, both accused took him to the village and unleashed their bull dogs on him. As a result, his body was bitten.
