KARACHI -- Faiz Ilyas and Dhuraf Das registered easy victories in the first round of the boys' U-16 category as the Essa Lab National Seniors and Juniors Tennis Championship rolled into action here at the Modern Club on Saturday.

Faiz downed Laraib Shamsi 6-3, 6-0 while Dhuraf routed Abdul Nafay 6-1, 6-3.
