Facilitation centre to help resolve issues of traders.

PESHAWAR -- Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) have agreed to set up a 'CPEC and Investment Facilitation Centre' to resolve the issues of business community in coordination with the relevant government departments to boost up industrialisation in the province.

The agreement was inked during a meeting between SCCI office-bearers headed by its president Maqsood Anwar Pervaiz and Smeda officials led by its general manager Javed Iqbal Khattak at the chamber house here on Monday.

SCCI senior vice president Shahid Hussain, executive member Sherbaz Bilour, former vice president Haris Mufti, Smeda provincial chief Rashid Aman and other senior businessmen were also present on the occasion.

Maqsood Perviaz expressed the hope that the proposed investment facilitation centre would play pivotal role in resolution of business community's issues besides give a boost to industrialisation in the province.
