Extraordinary general meeting of Dawood Lawrencepur Limited to be held on January 20, 2020.

Karachi: Dawood Lawrencepur Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange that extraordinary general meeting of the company is scheduled to be held on January 20, 2020 at Karachi.

The agenda of the meeting will to elect seven (7) directors of the Company as fixed by the Board of Directors, in accordance with Section 159(1) of the Companies Act, 2017 for a term of three (3) year commencing from January 21, 2020.

Further, the closed period of the company is from January 14, 2020 to January 20, 2020 (both days inclusive).

Dawood Lawrencepur Limited was incorporated in Pakistan in 2004 as a public listed company formed as a result of a Scheme of Arrangement for Amalgamation in terms of the provisions of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 between Dawood Cotton Mills Limited, Dilon Limited, Burewala Textile Mills Limited and Lawrencepur Woolen and Textile Mills Limited.
