Exhibition showcases variety of art pieces.

RAWALPINDI -- A group calligraphy and art and craft exhibition was held at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Tuesday in which works of various artists from the twin cities were showcased.

MPA Farah Agha inaugurated the exhibition and was also attended by Naheed Manzoor and RAC Director Waqar Ahmed.

Ahmed Shah Abdali had brought 30 art pieces of calligraphy and portraits on wood while Batool Qureshi displayed crafts of decorated vase and items. Qasim Ali and his wife Zubaria displayed photos engraved on mirrors.

Embroidery by Fozia Shahid was also exhibited while Shabana Babar from Srinagar displayed handmade jewellery besides Kashmiri and Balochi dresses.

Mohammad Azeem Iqbal displayed calligraphy depicting early Islam period.
