Excise seizes 102 kg hashish.

Peshawar -- Director General Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Aslam Wazir has said that crack down against drugs dealers were intensified, eradication of drugs from the province is the top priority. 102 kg of Hashish was recovered during a crackdown today. He further said that operation against drugs being extended to the whole province.

In this connection, Mardan Excise Police Station foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of drugs to Punjab while recovered 102 kg (102000 gm) of hashish and the smuggler was arrested on the spot.

According to details, under the supervision of Masood-ul-Haq Excise and Taxation Officer (Counter Narcotics Operations) and on the instructions of Waheed Khan Circle Officer Peshawar and Mardan Region, Akif Nawaz SHO Excise Mardan Police Station along with other personnel carried out a major operation near Charsadaa Interchange Motorway.
