Ex-president Musharraf's family denies reports of his death.

KARACHI -- The family of former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, who has been living in Dubai since 2016, has denied the reports of his death.

'He is not on the ventilator. Has been hospitalised for the last 3 weeks due to a complication of his ailment (Amyloidosis),' the family shared a message on Musharraf's official Twitter handle on Friday.

'Going through a difficult stage where recovery is not possible and organs are malfunctioning. Pray for ease in his daily living.'
