Ex-nazims call for early LG polls.

PESHAWAR -- All former nazims of different neighbourhood and village councils have blamed the government for using delaying tactics to hold the local government elections and demanded of the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the delay in the process.

Talking to mediapersons at Peshawar Press Club on Thursday, representatives of the all nazims neighbourhood and village councils organising committee, Peshawar district, headed by Amanullah Khan, said that August 28, 2019 was the last official day of the local bodies, but the government did not take any step to continue their projects.
