ETRC, LONGi ink MoU for training on solar system.

LAHORE -- Energy Training and Research Centre (ETRC) and Chinese company LONGi Solar Technology Limited here Monday signed a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under which LONGi Solar will provide technical and financial support for conducting two-month training on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system for power generation at the ETRC Lahore.

Sharing his views as chief guest on this occasion, Country Manager (Pakistan) LONGi Solar China, Ali Majid said that LONGi Solar headquartered located in Xi'an, was professional manufacturer of high-efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells and modules.

He added that LONGi Solar would soon possess 5.5GW of cells and 5GW of modules, incorporating 1GW of overseas capacity. With the obvious advantage of significant experience in mono-crystalline silicon products, LONGi Solar had shipped over 1GW in 2015 within mainland China and was now ready to enter overseas markets with branches in USA, Germany and Japan.
