Establishment of new districts, tehsils being considered.

LAHORE -- The population of some tehsils is more than that of the districts, making it necessary to revise their boundaries, a meeting of the task force for reviewing boundaries was told.

Held at the Civil Secretariat on Tuesday and presided over by Punjab Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Social Welfare Raja Basharat, the meeting reviewed establishment as well as procedures and rules for setting up of new districts and tehsils in Punjab.
