Enmity claims three lives in two incidents.

LAHORE -- Three people were allegedly shot dead and two others injured, one of them critically, in separate incidents in the city, the police said on Monday.

In Harbanspura, former police constable Kashif Sharif along with his friend Mohammad Kashif was killed by his relatives over a property dispute.

In Nawakot, Aslam Khan (55) was shot dead and his young son Hamza injured seriously by armed motorcyclists.

A police official said Kashif Sharif had a property dispute with his maternal uncles who [riding motorbikes] ambushed his vehicle when he was going to a local market along with his [deceased] friend.

His another friend Zuhaib was also present in the same vehicle but he sustained a bullet injury to his leg, the police official said adding the assailants managed their escape.
