Engineers get degrees at UET convocation.

LAHORE -- At the University of Engineering and Technology's (UET's) 29th convocation, 2,621 graduates received degrees. AMong them were 1,842 graduate engineers, and 758 MS/MPhil and 21 PhD scholars.

Balighur Rahman, the governor and chancellor of Punjab, presided over the convocation, and said the UET is significantly influencing how students will develop in the future. He said that initiatives on empowering women in STEM and patents, the creation of an academy, new degree programmes, and 19 operational research centres were all clearly showing UET's persistent commitment to putting students on the path to a better future.
