Emergency Operation Centre confirms two new polio cases in Sindh.

KARACHI -- The Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) for Polio Sindh confirmed on Saturday that two new polio cases had emerged in the Sindh province's Mirpurkhas district. One case was reported from Tehsil Digri of the district, where a 36 months old boy contracted polio on 17 November 2019. The child had seven doses of polio vaccine during campaigns according to his parents. The child is not going to suffer from disability as her legs and spine are not affected but instead but has slight weakness in facial muscles.

The second case is reported from Tehsil Mirpurkhas where a 72 months old boy contracted the polio virus on 20 November 2019.
