Election of India as a non-permanent member of UNSC is a glaring failure of PTI govt: Shehbaz.

LAHORE -- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif while condemning the election of India as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has said that this has given negative message to suppressed and law abiding citizens by United Nations and international conscience. He said that the success of a country which is involved in severe kind human rights violations, UN Charger and international laws is regrettable.

In a statement issued on social media on Friday, Shehbaz Sharif said that the election of India, with the blood of Kashmiris on its hands, as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is a glaring failure of the PTI government. He said that it did not propose a replacement for the Indian nomination, reflecting its tunnel vision and complacency.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the Niazi government bleeded the people of Pakistan and Kashmir by supporting election of a member of the United Nations Security Council. Lack of alternative nomination efforts compared to India is like surrendering on the diplomatic front.
