Elderly man dies of suffocation at revenue office.

RAHIM YAR KHAN -- An elderly man died due to suffocation in the office of sub-registrar where he had come for mutation of land on Tuesday.

Reports said Ahmed Bakhsh, 75, a resident of Basti Bari, arrived at the sub-registrar office with his sons for transfer of a piece of land in their name. He felt uneasy and his sons took him out of the office where he breathed his last.

The incident created an uproar at the office where District Bar Association President Basharat Hundel came and exchanged harsh words with sub-registrar Liaquat Bhatti.
