Elderly man dies of dengue fever in Karachi.

KARACHI -- A 71-year-old man died of dengue fever at a private hospital of Karachi on Wednesday, taking the death toll from this mosquito-borne disease to 21 since Jan 01, 2019. Spokesman for Prevention and Control Program for Dengue (PCPD) Sindh, while talking to reporter, confirmed the death of elderly man, a resident of Block 01, Scheme-36, District East Karachi. The principal diagnosis and reason for admission were complicated dengue fever, septic shock, renal failure and others.
