Eight killed in Batkhela road accidents.

BATKHELA -- Eight people were killed and over 30 injured in two road accidents on Swat Expressway late Monday night.

Levies officials said six people were killed and 17 others got injuries when a van plunged into a ravine on Swat Expressway in Palai area of Malakand district on Monday night. The van was on way back from Odigram Swat to Mardan, taking participants of a wedding ceremony. Those died on the spot included Nusrat Bibi, Habibur Rehman, Roidad, while Salma, Sudhair and Sadeed succumbed to injuries at the district headquarters hospital, Batkhela.
