Eight arrested in police crackdown.

ISLAMABAD -- The capital police have arrested eight outlaws from different parts of the city and recovered seven liquor bottles and weapons with ammunition during the last 24 hours, a spokesman for the police said on Sunday.

He said on the direction of DIG (Operations) Sohail Zafar Chattha to launch a crackdown on criminals, Sihala police apprehended two suspects and recovered two 30-bore pistols with ammunition from their possession.

Likewise, Banigala police during snap checking held four persons and recovered one Kalashnikov, one 44-bore rifle, one 12-bore rifle with ammunition and seven liquor bottles from their possession.
