Efforts on to bring back 'cop killer' from Sweden.

KARACHI -- While efforts are under way to bring back home from Sweden a man who killed a policeman, police picked up his brother-in-law and driver in connection with the murder of 34-year-old police constable Abdul Rehman.

Suspect Khurram Nisar, who has been booked for the murder, managed to escape to Sweden through a Turkish airline flight early on Tuesday morning by using his Swedish passport.

South-SSP Syed Asad Raza told Dawn that the police had arrested suspect's brother-in-law Amir Qadeer and driver Aurangzeb for their alleged involvement in helping Nisar to flee.

He added that both the detained persons had 'conspired' to help the suspect go abroad and they knew that he was involved in the murder of a policeman.
