ECP to probe Ali Gillani's controversial video.

ISLAMABAD -- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will conduct investigation in the controversial video of Ali Haider Gillani and will take appropriate action as a result of the findings of the investigation. A senior official of ECP without disclosing his name told The Nation that the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) has ordered probe into the matter and directed the concerned officers to submit the final report. The official further, however, revealed that the investigation may not lead to disqualification of any member but will at least take action completely on merit. The official further said that the duty of the ECP was to stop corrupt practices and what happened in the video of Ali Haider Gillani was completely a corrupt practice which will be probed on merit.
