EC Balochistan satisfy over peaceful conduct of LG by-polls.

QUETTA -- Election Commissioner Balochistan, Abdul Qayum Khan Shinwari on Wednesday expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of Local Government elections held in four districts of the province.

'Role of the provincial government, especially the district administration and law enforcement agencies, for the peaceful conduct of the local government elections was commendable,' he praised.

In a statement issued here, Election Commissioner Balochistan while terming the conduct of peaceful election a great success said that officers and staff of the Election Commission played pivotal role in this success.

He further said that conducting peaceful, clean, transparent and neutral elections is not only our constitutional responsibility but also a national duty which was carried out in a befitting manner.
