Drizzle likely today in city.

KARACHI -- The Met department has forecast partly cloudy weather with intermittent drizzle and chances of rain at night/evening for another two days (Saturday/Sunday) in the city with maximum temperature ranging between 33 degrees Celsius and 35AdegC.

'The pre-monsoon period prevailing for the past several days is being induced by currents penetrating into the Arabian sea. It has also brought about a significant drop in temperature affecting other parts of Sindh,' explained city weatherman Dr Sardar Sarfaraz.

A similar weather pattern would continue next week unless a low pressure area or depression emerged, he added.

Meanwhile, the city's weather turned pleasant on Friday as several parts of Karachi received drizzle.
