Drive launched in Sohbatpur to fight malaria.

An indoor residual spraying drive was launched on Friday in Sohbatpur district of Nasirabad to fight spread of malaria in the area.

After last year's torrential rains and heavy flood, a sharp increase in malaria cases was recorded in Sohbatpur district.

The indoor residual spraying treats the inside walls of homes with long-lasting insecticides. It is an effective way to kill mosquitoes and disrupt the transmission of malaria.
