Dr Yasmin wishes Christmas to Christian staff members.

LAHORE -- Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid sent wishes and greetings to the Christians community on the eve of Christmas and also wished the nation a happy birthday of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. In her message, the Health Minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan dreams of a Pakistan as envisioned by father of the nation, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. She said the Quaid-i-Azam changed the map of the world and gave Muslims of the sub continent a homeland of their own. All coming generations will pay rich tribute to the great Quaid who taught us to take care of minorities. The founder of the country is a great leader freed Muslims from the tyranny of serfdom. She said we must make Pakistan a great country in accordance with the vision of the Quaid-i-Azam. Dr Yasmin Rashid sent special greetings to the Christian staff members serving in Punjab hospitals. She wished them a happy Christmas and said their dedication and commitment is exemplary.

Alhamra celebrates Jinnah's birthday

The Lahore Arts Council (LAC) on Friday celebrated 145th birthday of Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with renewed pledge to work hard for progress and prosperity of the country, at Alhamra Art Centre, here.

Information Secretary Raja Jahangir Anwar was the chief guest of the function. He cut the cake along with Chairperson Alhamra Moneeza Hashmi, Executive Director Saman Rai. DGPR Dr. Muhammad Aslam Dogar, Director-General PILAC Dr. Sughra Sadaf, Director Lahore Museum Ejaz Ahmad Minhas and other officials were also present.
