Dr Tahir made KTH hospital director.

PESHAWAR -- Dr Tahir Nadeem Khan, a senior health management specialist, has been appointed hospital director of Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar.

His appointment was approved by the Board of Governors of Khyber Teaching Hospital/Khyber Medical College and Khyber college of Dentistry, a press release said. A former director-general health services, Dr Tahir Nadeem Khan assumed the charge on Thursday. He was appointed for a period of five years.

Before his new assignments, he held several positions including director general health, director general of Provincial Health Services Academy and managing director of Health Foundation.

A KMC's graduate in 1984, he did masters in health management, planning and policy in 1996 from Nuffield Institute for Health, University of Leeds United Kingdom.
