Dr Haroon's role as health expert, activist highlighted.

KARACHI -- Speakers at an evening with Dr Haroon Ahmed at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Friday lauded the role and contribution of the eminent psychiatrist and activist in providing relief to his patients and inspiring people to raise their voice against injustices in society.

They observed that Dr Haroon's efforts had left a deep, positive impact on society and mobilised people to stand up against injustices.

People from different walks of life were invited to share their experience with the expert psychiatrist at the gathering organised by the KPC. Prominent among those who spoke at the programme was former Dawn editor Saleem Asmi.
