Dr Firdous urges Islamic world to play role in helping Kashmiris.

ISLAMABAD -- Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has urged the Islamic world to play practical role in helping the Kashmiri people get their legitimate, democratic and legal right as per the UN Security Council resolutions. In a series of tweets on Wednesday, she welcomed the OIC Secretary General's Special Envoy Yousef Al Dobeay's statement in support of the oppressed people of Indian occupied Kashmir. 'We welcome the statement supporting the resolution of Kashmir dispute as per the UN Security Council resolutions', she added. The SAPM said the expression of solidarity by the OIC will give courage to the oppressed people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
