THE Covid-19 pandemic has spread fear across the world. But we don't need to panic. It pains me to say that most religious leaders are communicating wrong beliefs to their congregations. They are misguiding people not to obey the authorities' suggested precautionary measures.

It is time people understood the situation's gravity. What if you are a carrier of this deadly virus and your interaction with other people spreads the infection? Then what should be the punishment for putting people's lives in danger?

All religions have always enlightened people and brought peace and harmony...
