Workers of tehsil municipal administrations killed many stray dogs during a special campaign here on Monday.

The campaign was launched on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Fazal Akbar following reports that stray dogs attacked and injured several people in Lakki and other parts of the district.

In Lakki city, more than 12 people including children were bitten by mad dogs, prompting the administration to take notice of the situation. The injured were shifted to Government City Hospital where anti-rabies vaccine was administered to them.
