THE Covid-19 pandemic has exposed the health system of developing countries like Pakistan. China, which was the origin of the pandemic, has been successful in controlling the virus.

The Chinese succeeded in overcoming the challenge because of their advanced healthcare system, the continuous lockdown and most important their will to fight the pandemic. Developing countries like Pakistan need to learn from China that a mere lockdown is not enough.

After the lockdown, China disinfected its cities, including all roads, quarantine zones...
