Direct flights between Pakistan, Kazakhstan from May.

RAWALPINDI -- The Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafin on Thursday said that direct flights between Kazakhstan and Pakistan will start in May 2023, which will strengthen the two nations' economic connectivity.

After the start of direct air flights between the city of Lahore in Pakistan and the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan, not only will economic relations between the two countries improve, but people to people contact will also increase on both sides.

The envoy said this while meeting with Minister for Commerce and Industries, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Adnan Jalil here in his office. He said apart from this, there will be an increase in the promotion of tourism in both countries.

He said that currently, Pakistan and Kazakhstan are among the most beautiful countries in the world where the tourism industry can become the wheel of the country's economy.

He said that the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan and the Northern areas of Pakistan are among the most beautiful regions of the world.
