Dir police nab robbers, recover 12 motorbikes.

LOWER DIR -- Police claimed to have arrested a five-member gang of robbers and recovered 12 stolen motorcycles, a buffalo and Rs60,000 cash from them.

DPO Ikramullah Khan told journalists that police traced the gang involved in stealing motorcycles and cattle from different areas of Adenzai with the help of modern technology.

He said that five members of the gang including Siab Khan of Shamlai Chakdara, Zahirullah and Ziadullah of Chinar Koto Batkhela, Shehzad of Ghawar Kalay Dargai and Zameer of Ramora Chakdara were arrested from different locations.

The DPO said that 12 motorcycles, a buffalo along with a calf and Rs60,000 were recovered from the arrested persons. He said the arrested persons confessed to their crimes. The arrested persons were also presented to media.
