Dera's Sheikh Badin hills receive snow.

SHANGLA -- Sheikh Badin Hills of Dera Ismail Khan received the first snowfall of the season on Sunday after a gap of about five years.

According to Sheikh Badin National Park management, snowfall started on Saturday and continued on Sunday, adding that more snow was likely overnight.

According to the management, the minimum temperature on the hilltop was recorded -8 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, people of the area demanded of the authorities concerned to speed up the construction of roads leading to Sheikh Badin, which is a popular tourist destination located between Lakki Marwat and Dera Ismail Khan districts.
