Decision taken to set up 60 new literacy centers for poor children in district RWP.

Rawalpindi -- Literacy Department has decided to set up 60 new literacy centers in district Rawalpindi for free primary education and training of street children doing labor at hotels, workshops, shops, bricks kiln factories, begging, picking up garbage.

These centers will be made with the co-operation of private department.

Moreover, 60 educated ladies teachers would be recruited for this non-formal public education,.

FA, FSC unemployed young teachers would be given monthly salary of Rs 7,000.

These female teachers will set up literacy centers to such areas where minimum number of children are of 30.

These children would be given primary education in 40 months.
