Decision taken to not extend retirement age of govt employees.

ISLAMABAD -- The retirement age of government employees - which is at the age of 60 - will not be extended, while recommendations have been made by a committee to support the case.

According to sources of a private TV channel, the committee headed by Advisor to PM on Institutional Reforms and Austerity Dr. Ishrat Hussain recommended not to increase the retirement age, saying that the retirement age of public servants should be maintained at 60 years.
