December declared Quaid's month.

KARACHI -- Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, celebrated December as the month of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah in connection with the birthday of the founder of the country.

The paramilitary force organised various ceremonies in Sindh and Karachi, including display of banners, sports competitions at schools and colleges, visits to the Quaid's mazar/Residency, different speech declamations, image making and essay writings contests.

Officials said that the camel race, the popular sports of Sindh, was also organised in the province.

At the same time, peace walks throughout the province were also organised.

Children from different schools visited the birthplace, residence and mausoleum of the Quaid-i-Azam and cricket, football, boxing and snooker competitions were also organised throughout the province.

A large number of people participated with enthusiasm.

Speech competitions were also organised in schools and colleges on this occasion.
