Death sentence commuted to life in prison.

KARACHI -- The Sindh High Court on Friday commuted the death sentence of an appellant to life in prison in a case pertaining to the murder of his wife and two children.

An additional district and sessions court had sentenced Sher Mohammad to death after finding him guilty of killing his wife Menhaz and two children Hasnain and Alishba in 2012 in their house located within the remit of the New Karachi Industrial Area police station.

The convict through his lawyer had challenged the death penalty before the high court in 2017.
