Deaf, dumb people can become useful citizens through education: Minister.

SIALKOT -- Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq on Sunday said that deaf and dumb people were not a burden on society and they could become useful citizens if imparted proper education.

He expressed these views while addressing members of the Deaf and Dumb Association of Sialkot at its office. He said that it was a priority of the Punjab government to make deaf and dumb people useful citizen and all-out resources would be utilised in this regard.

He said that the Punjab government was following the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan that no nation could make progress until common man is made prosperous.
