A deadly crisis.

THE water shortage in Sindh is getting worse by the day, with poor people bearing the brunt of it. Several herds of cattle have died of thirst and thousands of acres have turned barren due to water scarcity. Some hapless farmers have resorted to taking their own lives to end their misery.

But all this is apparently not enough for the government to take notice of the ground reality.
