DC orders MWMC to review daily waste generation quantity of city.
MULTAN -- Deputy Commissioner Aamer Khattak ordered Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) officials to review daily waste generation quantity of the city and also directed to seek services of specialised third party to assess the waste quantity.
He expressed these views while presiding over MWMC meeting here on Saturday. DC ordered to fulfil the senior level vacant posts in the company as early as possible.
He ordered to get allotted state land for landfill site and select it near the city to save fuel expenses.
He also directed to review environmental impact of landfill site and audit of the company.
Aamer asked company administration to make company's hiring and recruitment committees functional.
He said that company has improved its performance.
