Daily count of new cases continues to decline in lslamabad.

ISLAMABAD -- The daily count of the Covid-19 positive cases in the capital decreased further on Tuesday, with 132 people testing positive for the disease.

There were 2,180 tests carried out in the last 24 hours. A few days ago, 2,007 tests found 248 positive cases.

The total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the capital reached 12,775 and the death toll rose to 128, said officials, adding that out of the total patients 7,261 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 5,386 active cases in the capital.

Out of the 132 new cases, 28 were reported from Pims Colony followed by 10 each from Tarlai, Bhara Kahu and Sohan, nine from G-9, eight from G-7, five from E-11, four each from F-6, F-10 and F-5, three each from Shah Allah Ditta, G-8, I-8 and Bahria Town, two each from G-10, Pakistan Town, Ghouri Town, F-7, I-11 and P.W.D., and one each from Khanna, I-8, H-11, G-6, G-11, I-10, Soan Garden, Jinnah Garden, River Garden, Media Town and Korang Town.

Since the outbreak, 844 cases have been reported from Lohi Bher, seven patients have died and 474 recovered. Moreover, 720 cases were reported from I-8, of which one patient died and 409 others recovered, 607 from G-8 with four deaths and 299 recoveries, 629 from G-9 with 10 deaths and 349 recoveries, 525 from Bhara Kahu with four deaths and 295 recoveries, 550 from G-7 with 16 deaths and 309 recoveries, 498 from Tarlai with five deaths and 286 recoveries, 600 from I-10 with five deaths and 389 recoveries, 515 from G-10 with six deaths and 305 recoveries, 508 from G-6 with four deaths and 304 recoveries, 324 from Rawat with three deaths and 151 recoveries, 373 from G-11 with three deaths and 208 recoveries, 322 from Sohan with five deaths and 170 recoveries, 322 from Khanna...
