D I Khan police arrest 53 proclaimed offenders in one month.

DIKHAN -- The district police arrested 77 suspects including 53 proclaimed offenders and recovered huge quantity of arms during various search and strike operations conducted under National Action Plan during the month of April.

The spokesman of the police department said that the police conducted the 23 operations in five circles including City, Saddar, Prova, Pharpur and Kulachi on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Capt (Retd) Wahid Mahmood and arrested a total of 77 suspects in last month.

During those crackdowns, the police recovered two Kalashnikovs, one Kalakos, seven rifles, 47 guns, 70 pistols, four knives and 2068 rounds of different bores.

The police also checked 2951 rented houses besides hotels and registered cases against 37 non-registered tenants. Cases were also registered against 13 important places for failing to take security measures.
