Owing to the lockdown, adolescents have increased the use of social media which may also increase the risk of exposure to cybercrime. There are opportunists who can use fake identities and bait youngsters by becoming friends on different social platforms.
It is the responsibility of parents to keep their children aware of this issue and also keep them under supervision. The misuse of the internet is increasing daily.
