Customs duty collection surpasses target.

QUETTA -- The customs duty collection by the Model Customs Collectorate (Appraisement), Quetta, during the period July-May 2020-21 stood at Rs6,380 million against the assigned target of Rs4,224m. It collected Rs2,156m (42 per cent) more than the assigned target.

During the month of May, 2021, the Model Customs Collectorate (Appraisement), Quetta, collected Rs474m as Customs Duty which is Rs115m above the assigned target of Rs359m.

It collected total revenue of Rs25 billion during July 2020 to May 2021, which is more than 35pc of the assigned target.
