Cultural festival begins in Bajaur tomorrow.

KHAR -- A two-day cultural and sports festival will begin in Bajaur tribal district on Monday.

Deputy commissioner Usman Mehsud told journalists at a press briefing on Saturday that the festival would be held at Bajaur Sports Complex organised by the local administration in collaboration with the culture and tourism department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said Rs3 million had been allocated for the festival by the culture and tourism department. He said various stalls displaying local items would be arranged, which would reflect the customs and traditions of the region.

Besides, he said popular local musical instruments would also be part of the festival.
