Culmination of our movement will be resignation of Imran Niazi and new elections: Opposition Rahbar Committee.

ISLAMABAD -- Members of Opposition's Rahbar Committee have said that the culmination of our movement will be the resignation of Imran Niazi and new elections. The members said we are sitting here and will talk here, adding that we have asked government to bring the resignation of prime minister and there should be no delay in this matter and if there is any delay it will be harmful. They said we say Imran Khan is selected but he says I am elected, adding that he should come and announce the election the masses will decide who was selected and who will be elected. The Member of Rahabar Committee said that the weapon of resignations is present and if other options will not work then this nuclear option could be used at any time.

This was stated by Convener of the Opposition's Rahbar Committee Akram Khan Durrani, Ahsan Iqbal chaudhry, Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Mian Iftikhar Hussain and JUI-F Secretary General Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri in an interview with a private TV channel on Sunday.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Akram Khan Durrani said that we are not violating the agreement made with the government but government is violating the agreement, adding that even today net has been closed and channels have been closed. He said that the Peshawar High Court had given clear verdict that no containers will be placed and there will no restriction on media, adding that Islamabad High Court has also given permission to us but the government is fleeing from this agreement. He said that if the government is fleeing then we could also review the situation.
