THE Civil Superior Services 2019 result was announced recently. Candidates who appeared in international relations, gender studies and international law as optional subjects have fared badly.

This means that candidates who appeared in optional subjects like business adminstration, criminology and Punjabi etc. will have a better probability of securing a better service group than the less fortunate.

Article 14(ii) of the CSS exams rules states that those securing more marks in viva voce and interview are more competent than those having a higher score in the written part of the exam.
