Covid claims 23 more lives in Punjab.

LAHORE -- The Covid-19 death toll in Punjab reached 4,432 after 23 more patients succumbed to the infection during the last 24 hours.

Of them, 10 patients died in Lahore where the total number of casualties due to the virus reached 1,757.

According to the official update on the Covid-19 released by the Punjab government here on Monday, 560 more people tested positive for the virus during the last 24 hours across the province.

Of them, 352 were reported from Lahore where the total number of the positive cases reached 75,011 so far.

The figures showed 43 were recorded from Faisalabad, 20 from Multan while 16 patients were confirmed positive from Bahawalpur.

Other cases were reported from Khushab, Layyah, Sheikhupura, Narowal, Gujrat, Kasur, Okara, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanewal, Nankana Sahib, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran, Jhelum, Mianwali, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhang, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Chinot, and...
