Covid-19 patients getting required facilities: Qaiser.

SWABI -- National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and provincial health minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra have said the government will continue to provide all required facilities to coronavirus patients.

They were addressing a ceremony, where only selected people participated at Bacha Khan Complex Shahmansoor, to inaugurate various upgraded departments.

Mr Qaiser, who has recovered from coronavirus, said the deadly virus could be controlled by observing the precautionary measures. He said the nation was passing through a critical time and there was dire need to fight the virus upfront.

He warned if people failed to follow the SOPs then the government`s efforts would also fail.

The government has completely focused on controlling the coronavirus spread, and for that to succeed people`s help and cooperation is crucial. People need to observe social distancing, wear masks, avoid unnecessary gatherings and travel and must take a healthy diet, he said.

Mr Qaiser said the government`s top priority was to leave no stone unturned in defeating coronavirus. `We will control the virus with the help of doctors and paramedical staff,` he added.

He said the upgraded departments in the Bacha Khan Hospital would prove helpful for patients. `All the requiredfacilities have been provided at hospital to facilitate the people,` he said.

The health minister said people of Swabi were lucky that their leadership continued to focus on their welfare.
