COVID-19 leads to cause 74 fatalities in a single day in Pakistan.

LAHORE -- As many as 74 deaths have occurred in a single day due to novel coronavirus in Pakistan taking the total tally of fatalities to 4035.

As per latest statistics the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 3,138 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours raising the number of positive cases has surged to 198,883.

Sindh has become the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Till now 76,318 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 72,880 in Punjab, 24,943 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10,116 in Balochistan, 12,206 in Islamabad, 1,417 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1,003 in Azad Kashmir.
